“Guess what, you’re having a girl!” Doctor Sheen exclaimed. She seemed more excited than I was, like it was her baby and not mine. Mar’kel looked at me and winked and Sir kissed me on my cheek and told me everything is great. We’ve been thicker than thieves for the past couple of days and I couldn’t have been any happier. My life had finally taken a turn for the better and I was about to be a mommy. I had everything I wanted and everything I needed, but I just wished Mila was here to witness it. Sir helped me up and pulled me in for a hug.

“I love you Treasure, thank you for carrying my baby.” It was the first time he told me he loved me and I was a little tongue-tied. I had very strong feelings for him but was it love? Could I love two men at the same time? Those were the thoughts that crossed my mind as I stood at a standstill. I blushed from all the attention he was giving me and Mar’kel looked as if she wanted to cry.

“Aww, yawl make such a cute couple!” she beamed. “Sir, you better keep tha smile on her face if you know what’s good for you,” she gave him evil glare and we all laughed. The doctor congratulated us and we walked out of the doctor’s office hand in hand; me, Mar’kel and Sir. I knew it was corny but I loved shit like this.

“What you wanna eat?” Sir asked as he helped me in the car.

“Umm, can we go to the Cheesecake factory again?” I said batting my long eyelashes. I did that because I knew he wasn’t a big fan of the CF but I loved it and spent most of my time dining there. There salads were delicious and I loved their Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp dish.

“Yeah, I guess we can go to the Cheesecake Factory. Mar’kel, you rolling with us?” Mar’kel checked the time on her watch and shook her head ‘no’.

“I would love to but I can’t, duty calls. My baby has a recital in an hour and I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Yawl be safe and call me later babes,” she said kissing my check and hugging Sir. She then got into her drop-top BMW and pealed out of the parking lot.

“Come on, drive this car, I’m hungry as hell!” I joked as Sir got behind the wheel and navigated through the city streets.

We arrived at the mall 30 minutes later and were promptly seated.

“Hello, my name is Zora, I’ll be your server today. Can I start you guys off with something to drink?” a young pretty, brown-skinned waitress said with her pen and pad in hand. She handed us some menus and smiled at us. I looked at her and smiled back.

“Yes, hello Zora, can I have a Frozen Ice Smoothie?”

“Sure, and for you sir?” I looked at Sir and laughed at and he couldn’t help but laugh with me.
